Madame, I admire how you've side-stepped the bullshit and tried to be a friend to all. It saddens me that your time here is limited these days.

I see hatred all over Tribe. Hatred so inane it would be comical were it not painful for some of those being targeted. Much of it seems to stem from old vendettas and pride. This is fine when called for, but when it's simply an exercise in cruelty and stupidity it's time to study the matter more deeply.

How does one come to the realization that they are making a fool of oneself and should withdraw? How can we, as friends and watchers, help them get over that hump of hate?

Here are some insights I have gathered over the years; clues if you will, to help you realize you have tread into the territory of delusional creepy stalky behavior.:

1. You are relying on "others," real or imaginary, to tell your tale. Example: "All of your friends have told me that I am right and to pay you no mind."

2. You are dredging up innuendos to support your argument. This argument falsely assumes that others agree and that soemthing was proven to be true in the past. Example: "As we all all know, you have done this sort of thing before."

3. You are building a fan base in your mind. Example: "Many fo those who enjoy my posts say that I am a brilliant writer and orator."

4. You are falsely assuming that because no one speaks up or feels you are worthy of argument, you have their support. Example: "No one but you has told me I'm wrong and no one has come forward to support you."

5. You believe friends who are blowing smoke up your ass because they're simply too timid to speak the truth. To test this, grab your nuts and ask someone you trust to be honest with you about how they feel surrounding your behavior.

6. You are making claims you cannot back up but you are pretending you can but won't because you are too good of a person. Example: "Four people told me something that would blow your mind if I told you, but I can't tell you who or what because they asked me not to, I can only say that I love you enough to tell you I know something you don't know, and that it would change the course of your life if you knew, and it's a really really bad thing about someone you love deeply."

7. You claim to hate someone and ignore them, yet you sign up to "follow" them on various social networks without realizing they will receive a notice of your stalky behavior.

8. You have more than one alt and you troll them with your "real."

9. You lay in wait for the opportunities to dredge up the past in present circumstances, and you don't care if it ruins the current topic of conversation, as long as you are able to get in your digs.
